That philosophy is at the heart of PLM Signature — and it’s exactly what inspired us to create our brand-new rustic DJ podium booth. A vision brought to life We had a clear vision for our new booth. We wanted something that would stand apart from the traditional DJ setups, combining the warmth and character of rustic styling with a modern, premium finish. Rather than settling for an off-the-shelf solution, we decided to bring our own design to life. We appointed a talented local carpenter to turn our ideas into reality, working with us to create a bespoke podium that reflects the look and feel of our Signature service. Supporting local craftsmanship was an important part of the process, and we’re delighted to have worked with a local professional who could help deliver the vision we had in mind. Designed with the details in mind Every element of the booth has been carefully considered, from its rustic timber finish and clean lines to the lighting details that help bring the whole setup to life. The design gives us a distinctive centrepiece for our Signature shows, providing a stylish foundation for our premium sound and lighting equipment while keeping the overall presentation clean, professional and elegant. We’ve also designed the booth with our lighting in mind. With carefully positioned lighting features and the flexibility to incorporate our Ape Labs lighting effects, the podium can become part of the overall visual experience rather than simply somewhere to stand and DJ. It’s this attention to detail that matters to us. The equipment needs to perform, but the presentation needs to be just as impressive. More than just a DJ booth Our new rustic podium is an important part of the wider PLM Signature experience. Signature is about giving clients more choice, more personalisation and a more considered approach to their event. From premium sound and lighting to carefully selected enhancements and bespoke styling, every element should work together. The new podium helps us achieve exactly that. Proud to support local craftsmanship One of the things we’re particularly pleased about is that the booth was made possible by working with a local carpenter. We believe there’s real value in working with skilled local tradespeople who take pride in what they do. Having a bespoke piece built around our own ideas means we get something that feels personal to our business, rather than another generic setup. It’s also a reminder that the best results often come from combining a clear vision with traditional skills and a willingness to get the details right.
